Nutrimalt was created in a similar format as Petromalt, but it does not have hairball laxative actions.

The package of Petromalt I just bought looks different than the one I used to buy. Additionally, the ingredients state mineral oil instead of liquid petrolatum. Did you change formulas?
No, the proven Petromalt formula has not changed. The art was updated and the ingredients were restated to comply with regulatory rules, thus, liquid petrolatum is the same thing as mineral oil.

Are the Petromalt treats the same formula as the Petromalt gel?
The formulas are different. The treat does have mineral oil as an active and also has rice bran to provide fiber to the diet.

Tips
Along with giving Petromalt routinely, we also recommend regular brushing of your cats' coat. This will help remove dander and loose hair. This time spend with a cat is also an excellent time to inspect for fleas, ticks or early signs of other potentially harmful problems.

Petromalt can be placed on your pets' front paw, your finger, or a regular cat dish where it can be readily licked off.

Petromalt can be given to cats of all ages, once weaned.
